I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Accountancy, City University of Hong Kong. I earned my Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University in 2020.

My most recent research looks at how social connectedness affects investors' information acquisition efforts. A stronger social connectedness (proxied based on friendship links on Facebook) promotes investors' EDGAR downloads. This finding is driven by the potential complementarity between learning from social networks and acquiring public information.
